Top 5 Theme Parks Apps Performance in Costa Rica for Q2 2023

During the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 theme park apps in Costa Rica exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here, we provide an overview of their trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

Disneyland® Paris saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $29 in the week of May 22. The app's weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 232 in late March and ending at 286 by late June. Meanwhile, weekly active users steadily climbed from 652 to 765 over the same period.

My Disney Experience experienced significant revenue spikes, particularly in the weeks of June 12 and June 26, reaching around $464 and $468, respectively. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, and closed the quarter at 198. Active users showed a slight increase, starting at 346 and peaking at 364 in early April before settling at 276 by the end of June.

Universal Orlando Resort did not generate any revenue during Q2 2023. However, the app's weekly downloads varied, culminating in a peak of 178 in the final week of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, growing from 428 in late March to 443 by the end of the quarter.

Universal Studios Hollywood™ also reported no revenue throughout the quarter. The app's weekly downloads were highest in the first week of April at 158, before stabilizing around 79-113 towards the end of June. Active users reached their peak at 322 in early April, with a slight decline to 295 by the end of the quarter.

SeaWorld maintained a low download count, peaking at 84 in early May. Active users saw a significant jump to 73 in the first week of May, but fluctuated thereafter, closing the quarter at 60.
